User Guide - Add New Page

Page Title - Give your page a name. The Page Title should reflect the contents of the page (ex: About Us), and will become part of the link URL. The Page Title will also be read and indexed by Search Engines.

Links will be in this format: http://www.yourdomain.com/page.asp?title=About Us

If you choose "Yes" for Display on Navigation Menu, then your link will automatically be created for you. Otherwise, you may want to link to your new page from another page.

To create a link to your new page after saving it, go to the Main Menu and EDIT the page you want to create the link on.
Use the Internal Link button to select your new page from the list. Simply click the Page Title to add it to your page. The link will be automatically created.

Display on Navigation Menu - Choose YES to add a Link on your Navigation Menu. Choose NO to create a sub page that you will create your own link to from another page using the Internal Link button.

Display Order - If you choose "Yes" for Display on Navigation Menu, then Display Order specifies the order Navigation Menu Links are listed. The list order is Alphanumeric (01, 02, 03, etc. or A, B, C, etc.) so if using numbers, be sure to include the preceeding "0" for numbers 1-9. You may also use a combination of numbers and letters.

Upload Image - Computer graphics and small images. Use this button to upload images that are screen-size or less that do not need to be reduced. Click here for Pixel Chart.

.JPG, .GIF, and .PNG images may be uploaded. Your image should have a UNIQUE file name. If your File Name is already used, then the older file will be OVERWRITTEN. You may choose to overwrite an older image simple by uploading an image with the same file name of the image you wish to overwrite.
Once the image has uploaded, you may insert it into your page using the Image button . Find your new image under the MY FILES tab.

Resize & Upload Large Photo - Camera photos and other large images that need to be scaled down. Images directly from today's megapixel cameras are very large both in screen size and file size. Although you can upload a full-size image, select it and set your size, then insert it into the Content Editor, the actual file size remains the same. By resizing the image before uploading it, the file size will be GREATLY reduced, giving your viewers a much faster viewing experience. Click here for Pixel Chart.

.JPG, .GIF, and .PNG images may be uploaded but your NEW RESIZED image will be in .JPG format. Your image should have a UNIQUE file name. If your File Name is already used, then the older file will be OVERWRITTEN. Once the image has uploaded, you may insert it into your page using the Image button . Find your new image under the MY FILES tab in the RESIZED_PHOTOS folder.

Upload PDF File - The File MUST be a .PDF and should have a unique File Name unless you want to overwrite an older file, such as a Newsletter.pdf. If your File Name is already used, then the older file will be OVERWRITTEN. You may choose to overwrite an older PDF File simple by uploading a PDF File with the same file name of the PDF File you wish to overwrite.
Once the file has uploaded, you may create a link to it using the Hyperlink button . Find your new PDF File under the MY FILES tab.

Create your page content using the buttons on the menu bar to format your text, insert pictures, create hyperlinks, etc. You may also copy content from another source, such as a Word Document, and paste it directly into the Content Editor (You may need to touch up formatting).
